Last night was the premiere of Breaking Dawn and MTV caught up with Stephenie Meyer to discuss “The Host” casting. I’m really glad to hear that she was involved in the process and that she was there for the auditions! Also awesome to hear is Stephenie gushing about the chemistry between Saoirse/Jake and Saoirse/Max. It’s still super early, but I think this movie is headed in a great direction!

They say that casting for ‘The Host’ movie is in “full force.” They also opine, “Twi-hards are likely looking forward to another movie from Stephenie and hearing that it’s going to star an actress with the performance level of Saoirse is very, very good news.”
Not much new in this video, but they don’t seem to acknowledge that The Host has a separate fan base. I’m not so happy with the Twi-hard label; anyone have any ideas for a name for fans of The Host before we get labeled by the entertainment media?

By popular demand, the very secret project we’ve been working on for awhile now: The Host Fan Video Vault! Located conveniently at http://thehostfan.com/video.
This section uses a program called PHPmotion which is a YouTube clone. Anyone can join, upload, watch, favorite, comment, rate, etc. Just click register to get started.
In the future, we will use this section to add interviews or clips relating to The Host movie. At present, we want to help the fan vidders and watchers. At the Video Vault, unlike YouTube, you don’t have ads popping up our your video and we won’t take down your music or close your account. Even if you’re only a watcher, it’s so much easier to have all the videos in one place instead of combing through all the other crap YouTube brings up when you search for “the host.”
Only way for this to be successful is for the vidders to upload their work, so go to the Vault and get uploading!
Note: We are still working out a few kinks with the tags. We also know that the videos are stretched out on the main page, but on their individual pages they view fine. If you have any other problems, feel free to contact the staff at our Video Vault account. (Of course, we always have the contact form as well.)

13 new videos have been added to our YouTube channel bringing us up to 114 magnificent vids.
Remember they are organized them into four playlists for easy viewing: Trailers, Music Videos, Chapter by Chapter Recreations, and Interviews & News. Enjoy!

We added a Frequently Asked Questions section. Frequent visitors to the site shouldn’t find much new, but we felt this was an important addition to to help those that are new to the fandom and may need some help catching up. The page also has a widget to our formspring so you can ask more questions.
Also, I added more than 25 videos to our YouTube channel. There’s some great interview videos of Stephenie and even more awesome trailers and music videos for you to enjoy! Subscribe to our channel to keep up with all the new additions.
