According to Acting-Auditions.org as of today, July 24, The Host has officially entered pre-production mode and casting has begun in Los Angeles.
There is no other new information, but if you are an actor interested in auditioning for The Host movie you should probably read the article.

Woohooo ! I’m so excited for this movie.
But isn’t it, like, the third time they post this exact article?
I got really exited the first two times. Now I’m waiting for names to come out.
Exciting! Can’t wait to see who they cast.
Good to hear!
AA.org did post the character descriptions already but nothing else. It never said anything about a date or the more extensive information about the production company. Plus, IMDb has the movie in “pre-production” as well. Sorry if they’re lying to us, but I think this time it’s legit.
Yea, that website actually doctors the dates on each of its entries. That exact article with those exact character descriptions have been up since about May; however, it re-loads the timestamp every 24 hours, so that it always looks like up to the minute ‘breaking news.’ I don’t even think its a legit business site, because it lists random character roles from Breaking Dawn in another post, and we know for sure that movie isn’t casting yet, or which characters will be involved in filming.
Great news! It’s starting at last!
